Rio Linda Tri-Tip Dinner Fundraiser

Rio Linda FFA

Jan 3, 2025

Rio Linda FFA at Rio Linda High School is a diverse chapter with student members who are highly involved in the chapter and the community. This year our members have and will attend a variety of leadership conferences, like National Convention in October, Made For Excellence and Advanced Leadership Academy in January, and State Conference in April. Rio Linda FFA also has 7 career and leadership development teams that are preparing to start the competition season at the first Field Day in Arbuckle in January. Forty Rio Linda FFA members will show and sell their livestock projects, while five Ag Mechanics/Welding students will showcase and sell their projects at the Sacramento County Fair. In the classroom, Rio Linda FFA members are enrolled in 1 of the 3 agriculture education pathways: Agriscience Academy, Floral, and/or Agriculture Mechanics. The school farm is host for 12 Boer goats, 15 meat rabbits, 20 laying hens, 3 geese, and a plethora of succulents; it also serves as a place for students to raise their livestock projects. If you would like to support Rio Linda FFA, we will have our next Tri-Tip Dinner Fundraiser on March 26th. Reach out to Hannah Hanko at hannah.hanko@trusd.net between March 3rd-14th to purchase your family meal. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to see chapter highlights and events!
