The Galt FFA Chapter was established in 1929 and is home to over 600+ current students taking classes in the areas of Agriscience, Ag Mechanics, Floriculture, and Ag Leadership. Over the summer of 2024 the chapter officers chose the theme of “Cultivating Potential” to guide the planning of our goals and activities for the school year. Their main goal of the year is to assist members in cultivating their own potential in their chapter, agriculture education, and their community. At this point in the year the members are preparing for the County Fair where there will be 100+ members exhibiting livestock and showcasing ag mechanics projects for exhibition and sale. Students are also practicing for various judging teams and speaking contests that will compete from January-May in a variety of field days. Along with that, Galt FFA members are getting ready for the 2025 State FFA Conference to be held in Sacramento, CA in early April.
