SCFB Ag Ambassadors
On Friday May 27th the Ag Ambassadors took ten legislators on a tour of the Sacramento County Fair. These young leaders involved in 4-H and FFA programs in Sacramento County are the future leaders of California agriculture. They have been involved in the Ag Ambassador program for the last three months, learning about local and state government. The tour allowed them to showcase their projects, entrepreneurial and leadership skills learned, while engaging legislators in a discussion about the importance of technical pro¬grams in high schools, the educational aspects of the County Fair and of course the projects in which they have invested their time and financial resources.
