The 2011 Farm Safety Seminar is scheduled for Friday March 18 at St. Anthony's Parish Hall located at 14012 Walnut Grove Ave in Walnut Grove. We offer this event free of charge to all current voting Farm Bureau members. With the support of organizations such as Farm Employers Labor Service, State Compensation Insurance Fund, UC Davis Western Center for Agricultural Health & Safety, Sacramento/Yolo Vector Control and the California Highway Patrol we will continue to provide this much needed Safety Seminar. Sessions this year include:

Employee Session Back and Ladder Safety CHP El Protector Program Basic First Aid Agricultural Worker Transportation Services West Nile & H1N1 Information Heat Illness Information and Prevention Respirator Fit ($50-$75 cost depending on attendance)

Supervisor / Owner / Manager Presentation on Ag Worker Transportation Services Latest regulations on operating Implements of Husbandry Compliance 101: What is in a "New Hire Packet" Regulatory Compliance

Respirator Fit session requires signed medical release for each participant.
